Sowing sweet peas in the spring is by far the easiest way of growing. There is no need to keep the seeds under glass, however you must be vigilant against slugs and mice.

1. Sow any time from March onwards outdoors
2. Use a good multi-purpose compost or seed sowing compost
3. Bury seeds to a depth of about 1cm and water in
4. Protect young seedlings from slugs, mice and birds
5. When the seedlings are about 15cm tall, plant out and support
